LOW TEMPERATURE SENSORS
ABW's Low Temperature Sensors use an RTD to accurately measure temperatures from -200°C to +162°C. This solution is recommended for medical grade coolers that cool at temps colder than -40C, cryogenic applications, as well as standard freezers and refrigerators. Longer probes available for this product. It is recommended, when possible, to select this sensor with an external probe--versus mounting the transmitter in a Refrigerator or Freezer Unit--to extend life and reduce the potential of internal condensation.
*RECOMMENDED VERSION SELECTION:
FREEZER UNITS: 0 (zero) or colder: With Remote Bulb or Industrial Version.
DIPPING CABINETS: With Remote Bulb or Industrial Version. Reason? Dipping cabinets that require defrosting have very high humidity levels, and even higher during defrost. The electronics can be kept outside the cabinet with a remote bulb or the Industrial Version is waterproof and can withstand lower temperature ranges & moisture.
COOLERS/REFRIGERATORS: Any version is sufficient.
WALK IN'S: FREEZER--REMOTE BULB OR INDUSTRIAL. COOLER: ANY VERSION.
